Here are my 7 Random Facts:

1. I used to be a competitive ice skater. My first training rink was close by. The second was 45 minutes away. My mother drove me to practice...at 5 am. I don't know if I would do that for my kids. 
2. As a child, I watched tons of football with my father. I dreamed of becoming the first female referee in the NFL. I still know all the hand signals. I was the only cheerleader on my squad who know what was going on...let alone if we should be doing an "offense" or "defense" cheer.
3. After my first marriage was sucked into a black hole, I began dating. I met a guy for our first date. It was a Wednesday. Halfway through the first date, he confessed he was getting married...Saturday. THAT Saturday.
4. I never talk negatively about my ex in front of my daughter or classmates' parents. In fact, many didn't realize we were divorced until we hit middle school. That being said, HE'S NEVER PAID ME A DIME OF ALIMONY OR CHILD SUPPORT!! {Thank you. That felt oh, so good.} 
5. I never bother asking our teens hard, "nosy" questions. They are all willing to give it up on one another. They can't help but to through each other under the bus. I do believe it's their favorite pastime. 
6. I used to love Tom Cruise. Then he divorced Nicole Kidman. He jumped on Oprah's sofa. Now, I just find him plain weird. Why are married men always so much more attractive than available men?
7. My first concert was the Monkees. Yes, Davy Jones and Peter Tork really rocked my heart.
