Advice to My Younger Self



Dear Teen Emma,

This is your forty-something self talking to you, so listen up, listen closely, and heed all advice given.

1. Trust your gut.
Yes, even as a teen, your gut was right. At nineteen, when your boyfriend (who will later be your ex-husband) goes ape shit in the car just because...

  3. Such truth in this letter, but it's the age-old tale, huh? We always have to learn things the hard way, no matter how much our parents try to spare us. Your journey got you here, Emma...and we're so glad it did!
