Fit and Healthy Friday {April}
For April, I'm decided to keep it simple since I would be spending one week college hunting with D3 over Spring break
These were my April Goals:
Move More
Make Better Food Choices (since I'll be eating out quite a bit)
When home-
one Zumba class a week
WW breakfast and lunch.
How did I do?
Well, not great, but not horrendously horrible either.
I did move more thanks to a week of college touring, a trip to an amusement park, and taking care of my nephew.
While I did my best to make better food choices, I won't lie. I churro snuck in there somewhere, as well as some, okay LOTS of chocolate. What can I say, except if there was a chocoholic rehab clinic, I would have a wing named after me.
I still haven't made it to a Zumba class, however, I did make it to a massage where my cellulite was kneaded into submission.
I'd give myself a fifty percent PASS on eating a Weight Watchers breakfast and lunch. When we were home, I was able to stick to that regime. Honestly, I think that's what saved me.
Someone give me a drum roll... I lost two pounds this month!
This month, I'm not going to add anything else to my goals. Instead, I work harder to accomplish the goals I have already set forth.
I am only five pounds away from my goal weight.
Wish me luck!

Great goals! And... yay for only 5lbs from your goal weight! You got this.
ReplyDeleteOne would hope so, but those last 5 lbs are always so darn hard!!!
Delete2 pounds in one month, that's great! I am with you on the chocolate... I keep some in the bedroom nightstand for emergencies only. I go through that chocolate quickly!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I'd be afraid I'd fall asleep eating it and wake up the next morning with questionable brown marks all over the sheets!!! LOL!!
DeleteYou can do it!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! 2 pounds is great! And as for chocolate, it's an essential part of life.
ReplyDeleteYou speak an absolute truth!
DeleteAre you doing WW? I'm in the program, and I really love it. I tend to eat the same thing for breakfast every morning, which makes it easy. =) What do you like to eat for breakfast?
ReplyDeleteI did the program eight years ago and lost 27 lbs. Now, every time I gain ten, I go back on it. :/
DeleteFor breakfast I am partial to Rice Crispies with berries and non-fat milk! :)
